Narrated by Abu Huraira (Radhiallah hu Taala anhu)
Allah's Apostle (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said : "Whoever has wronged his brother, should ask for his pardon (before his death), as (in the Hereafter) there will be neither a Dinar nor a Dirham. (He should secure pardon in this life) before some of his good deeds are taken and paid to his brother, or, if he has done no good deeds, some of the bad deeds of his brother are taken to be loaded on him (in the Hereafter)."
Bukhari Hadith 8.541

Ego makes it hard for people to sometimes accept that they have wronged the other person. I think even if you feel you haven't wronged the other person and know shes/hes hurt, you should ask for their pardon.
It's better to lose your ego to the one you Love, than to lose the one
you love because of ego.
