No pain, No gain! Must there always be pain?

"Blessed are the hearts that can bend; they shall never be broken." But I wonder if there's no breaking then there's no healing, and if there's no healing then there's no learning. And if there's no learning then there's no struggle. But the struggle is a part of life. So must all hearts be broken?"

I really don't buy into these kinds of thoughts. Why one has to get messed up before he get's whatever he wants?

You don't have to get robbed before you learn to how to protect. You don't have to kill anybody before you learn how to drive. You don't have to fail in exam before you pass. You don't have to listen to the non sense of your boss before you stand out.

If you want something, you go and get it, Period. Passion and Hard work is required for most of the things, you can call that pain, but I don't. Though some people are just plain lucky.

If you have a strong character and steady mind, then after failure you know that there is something better out there for you. Then why should somebody feel bad or feel pain or whatever?

If this pain/breaking heart has to deal with someone not getting his first love. Well then this might sound contrary to what I said before, but I just hope there is no breaking/healing for me. A truck poetry for this thought:

“Guzar jayay gee tairay bhagair bhee laikin

Bari udaas, bari baiqarar guzray gi”

Jazakallah khair for sharing your thoughts. I will add to your thoughts by saying that sometimes after going through pain the prize seems worthier although pain is not essential to set one on track, but there are surely positive sides to it.

The truck poetry reminded me of lyrics of a beautiful song

"Tere bina zindagi se koi shikwa to nahin
Tere bina zindagi bhi lekin zindagi to nahin"

Nothing more painful then a pure heart break and it can totally change a person for better or for worse.

It's easier for us to relate to the pain we ourselves have experienced and completely overrule the kind we never came across.

Verily We have created man into toil and struggle. ~Quran(90: 4)

O man! Verily you are ever toiling on towards your Lord— painfully toiling and you shall meet Him. ~Quran(84: 6)
